Here's the blurb about the jail:

Frisco Jail* circa 1881 Original

Owner: Town of Frisco
Frisco’s first and only jail featured four 7x10 foot jail cells and was moved to the park in 1983 from the east side of Fifth Avenue,
a half block off Main Street. The jail was built by J. Scott & William Myers, who used square nail construction and recycled
wagon wheels to hand-forge door and window hardware.
http://www.townoffrisco.com/uploadedFiles/Visitors/Historic_Park/Frisco_Historic_Park_Walking_Map.pdf~Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05696160256966995754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6960209583595716053.post-13362918506184961772009-03-28T12:12:00.000-05:002009-03-28T12:12:00.000-05:00Those are really cool doors. Ellen, I've been inside...the cells resemble horse stalls in size, but are barred from halfway up to the ceiling (the rest is wood). I was on the grounds after hours, so the doors were closed. In actuality, I'd never even noticed these cool doors before because I'd only been here when the jail was open...I recall just walking in through a broad opening.

Next time someone's in Frisco CO, go look and tell us, will you? :-D~Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05696160256966995754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6960209583595716053.post-48381673080724926842009-03-27T23:28:00.000-05:002009-03-27T23:28:00.000-05:00Great lines and texture. It looks like a barn but can't be, both of those double doors swing out and are hinged in the MIDDLE. This leaves you with four conventional Doorways - Strange for a barn - Unless the whole door structure is removeable then it is no longer a barn. As I said I love everything about this photo but more than that, I appreciate the exercise you have given my rusty old Grey Matter, it needs all it can get, Thanks for an intriguing pic, email me when you have done the sleuthing for me LOL.Ron a.k.a.
