Glittery . . .

We had one of those weird foggy stretches during my drive to work. It was sunny overhead. The temperature differential frosted the trees. They were so pretty, I had to pull over and snap a few shots! This fits the snow and ice theme without any difficulty!

  3. Ice on the trees is probably my favorite view of winter. Nice photo.

  4. Very nice, your camera picked up the details well. Glad I am not the only one stopping on the side of the road to take pictures. My neighbors think I am nuts, cause I am riding all over trying to chase the sun as its going down.

  5. So pretty, Val! I'm envious. We get very little snow here so I get my snow-fix through photos like your beautiful shot.

  7. Stunning Val!! It looks like you put glitter glue on all of the trees (we all know you have time to sit around doing that)! Ha!!

  8. Love the softness of this shot and especially how the cyclone wire fence gives a perfect framed hem to the shot.

  11. It is pretty and glittery, lovely and cheery shot Val. Maybe there should be bumper-stickers for the 365 challenge what with 365ers pulling to the side of the road.

  13. Beautiful shot! But way too cold for me. I think I'll just stay here in the car! ;-)

  14. You did a great job of capturing the scene! Do I see a hint of color that might be a prelude to spring buds? Lovely photo. I'll invite you to see the snow shot I'll place on my blog within the next week. Had been holding off because everyone is so tired of winter and wishing for spring.

  16. wish we had more shots like that to take here...

but then again, I should be careful what I wish for. Wished for a White Christmas, got it, and wasn't able to travel to be with family because of it this year.

so I'm going to take back my wish and enjoy your photo instead of wishing for that same scene here! lol
