Reflecting on street scenes

Before we headed off to see "Rent", we got to wander around Chicago's Millenium Park. These street scenes were shot along Michigan Avenue. Near the Bean is the Crown fountain that creates the pool of water you see below.

No trip downtown is complete without yet another photo of Cloud Gate (the Bean)!

  1. Wow, I am in love w/ your reflective street scene - I can see that as a painting over your fireplace! Awesome, Val!!!

  2. The reflections are great. I thought it was a puddle at first. This is beautiful.

  5. Great reflections - in both photos - crisp and clear

  6. They're both great photos, but the one with the reflection is truly unique. The splash of color in the urban setting and the line of people so perfectly reflected is not something one sees every day--or captures so perfectly.

  10. Not in this one, Julie...I was far away (to capture the buildings behind), but I do have several of the nearly required self-portraits from other trips here. It's so fun to experiment with!
