Armor for young and old

In the White Tower, within the grounds of the Tower of London, was a fascinating display of armor. It seems there were sizes for young and old. Imagine a small child, having to wear this...

  1. How odd! Maybe it was the middle ages version of a toddler wanting to walk around in his daddy's shoes? Your shot came out great...

  2. What a great photo, Val! That tiny suit of armor is priceless. It's interesting to note that the idea of childhood as we know it didn't exist in the Middle Ages. Children were just though of as miniature adults.
Glad to be in your group in May-June!

  7. That is so interesting. Your image is great, and the child's armour is just unreal.
