It was a dark and stormy night

Well, not really. Over my house, the sky was blue, but the soaring humidity and these clouds building in the west suggest a front is moving in.

Processed in Topaz Adjust, and converted to black & white.

  1. Very Heavenly...looks like storms are definitely on the way! Here it is cloudy and super humid...but the weather says (and I don't know why I am depending on weather reports, they are never right) no rain until a shower on sunday....we will see!

  2. One can almost smell the ozone. B&W adds to the ominous tone.

  4. It really sets the mood having it in B&W. It is raining downunder at the moment too.

  5. I like the B&W effect. If I saw those clouds in the sky I'd definitely be heading for cover. Well done!

  7. Sure makes for a gorgeous image but I'm guessing shortly after you shot this you got drenched!!

  8. Looks like our sky did yesterday, we had really wet day with dark blue skies and even some thunder. B&W really suits this image.

  9. Cool sky! I like that you shot this one in vertical orientation, it seems to emphasize the stormy aspect better than horizontal would have. B&W is perfect for it!
