Working for a living

Mary Lou...this one's for you!

In the Smokies, one hike we took led us to the summit of Mt. LeConte, where the National Park Service maintains a lodge and restaurant. All lodge inventory is brought in by llama - linens, food, beverages (except water). We happened to be up top when the llama team arrived. Here, some of the staff unload the goods. The next day, the team was hiked back out carrying trash.

  1. Now that is definitely work...I can't imagine doing that hike several times weekly with supplies! I love your llamas...they look like they are ready to go!
