Pavilion at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago Illinois

Yesterday's post was a close-up of the structure of this graceful pavilion.  I stood beneath it and enjoyed the city skyline and the patterns of light on the floor.

  7. I had another look at yesterdays post, now it all makes sense, I think I would have enjoyed standing beneath this pavilion too to enjoy the floor show and view out the end.

  8. So I saw the whole before the part. Both cool shots. What creates the colored patterns on the ground? I don't see colored glass in the woven cover.....

  9. Great photo yesterday...I was born in Chicago and lived there til I was about 5. We visited this zoo many times according to Mom. Have visited about 15 years ago but don't remember this.
