Large

Fiddling around in Photomatix with an image I took this summer of a large monument in southern Utah. Replaced a washed-out, high-noon sky, too. Can you tell?

  1. If Louis L'Amour was still writing he would buy this shot for a cover for "Sacketts Tombstone!" (A Book he never wrote but wished he had) LOL

  2. The sky colours and the monument are brilliant together.

  3. Beautiful shot! I'm hoping to spend more time in southern Utah soon. Five national parks, five national monuments, and a couple of must-see state parks thrown in for good measure. I'm thinking it will take several visits.

  4. If you wouldn't have said you replaced the sky, I would not have known. Love the colors of the sky and the landscape.

  5. Stunning...that red against that blue is a wonderful contrast and what incredible details!

  6. Well done! It is such an over the top sort of landscape that hdr seems made for it.
