Inviting

I found this open blue gate, which led into the Walled English Garden in the Chicago Botanical Gardens, to be very inviting.

  1. Love the color and texture . . . this makes me wonder what is on the other side of the wall.

  3. It does look inviting, especially at the angle you took the photo. Looks like there is poodle dog topiary inside!

  4. There's almost an Alice in Wonderland feeling: what's beyond that gate? I can imagine all sorts of fantastic things.

  5. No excuses for not going in if the gate was left open, hope you did.

  10. Love the warm tones of this image and you exposed well for both in front of the gate and beyond.

  11. I really like the angle of this shot and the fact that you can see inside. There are so many straight-on pictures of closed doors and gates anymore. I like them but they're getting too predictable. This is a nice twist on the same idea...but a different theme, as the others are not so inviting. Wicked shot!
