Playground

I am fortunate to live where we have access to many forest preserves. I consider them to be my playgrounds. Here's a scene from one of my favorite trails. A leisurely 40 minute hike from here and you will reach the bridge from last week's post.

  5. Sure looks like an inviting time of year to explore. When I used to go out to visit my sister in Chicagoland this was my favorite time of the year to do so.

  9. I love the presence of that tree, it is such a great anchor to this glowing green piece of spring. Its broken limbs give a feeling of strength.
