Summer

What follows spring? Summer, of course. If it can't actually be summer here in northern Illinois, I can at least dream of summer and all the wonderful produce it brings. Here is the third in the series of four "seasons" statues installed at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ.

  1. I am loving all of these season statues. This one is so full of color and what a cheesy face...I need miniatures of these for my flower gardens. LOVE unusual pieces!

  3. Arizona must be a scary place when the vegetation gangs up on people like that - Stay in Illinois where it is safe - if only in Winter.

  4. This concept of art is so cool. Do you know how they were able to keep everything so fresh for the displays?

  6. These statues are so interesting! I need to revisit the Desert Botanical Gardens as I haven't been there since we moved out here in 2008. Thanks for sharing... and I'm looking forward to seeing FALL.
