We stopped in Telluride, Colorado, on our drive back to Illinois. I was hoping to see Tom Cruise, or maybe Oprah, but no luck. Instead, we caught the gondola up the mountain to do a little exploring. Many ski areas have an area on the mountain for non-denominational worship services. This one is a typical example.
We've actually been back in IL for about a month now, but I think I've exhausted all possible themes using my vacation shots. Thanks for coming along for the ride! Who knows where we'll go tomorrow??
Now that's a gorgeous place to worship! I like the way the structure frames the view of the mountains in your shot. Nice!
ReplyDeleteVery cool image, but Tom Cruise would have been nice! :) I have totally enjoyed your vacation, can hardly wait to see what you come up with next...
ReplyDeleteFar more interesting than the rich lady or the Ex Mr Kidman as we call him Down Under.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous shot of the area. It looks like a ramada built there to facilitate worship. I am glad that religion is recognized when viewing nature.
ReplyDeleteHow could you not feel close to God and want to glorify Him in a setting like that?! Great photo.
ReplyDeleteWe were at a wedding on top of Aspen Mountain 2 years ago and the "canopy" where they were married looked just like this. This is such a gorgeous sight. I'm going to miss your gorgeous vacation photos. Next stop is...
ReplyDeleteA fine place to worship, nicely framed as Janet said. Thanks for letting us tag along on your trips.
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean about exhausting your trip photos to fill the themes! Looks like you really had a wonderful trip!! And many terrific photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful vacation! I can't think of a better place to worship.
