In his quest to get a down-low shot of this frozen river, my friend Greg lies on a bridge deck and suspends his camera, dangling from a tripod, toward the water. My job was to fire the wireless remote. Some of the pictures turned out pretty well. All of you blogger friends know to what lengths people will go for the shot.
I doubt that I would risk my camera like that!
ReplyDeleteNote to self: Hold tripod tight!
ReplyDeleteThat's dedication!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty impressed with the lengths hes' going through to get a great shot. I do have to say that, while I'm not averse to hanging off a bridge over a stream (just ask my husband!), I wouldn't risk my camera that way!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've been that extreme. I think I'd want to strap the tripod to my wrist.
ReplyDeletethat is inventive and a bit risky for a slippery fingers person like me, this is a fun photo with cool tones~
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! But I could never do that, for one I don't like heights and two, I'd drop the camera. Have a great day!

This could also be filed under humor . . . we have tried many angles to get a shot, but never quite that ingenious.
ReplyDeleteTrust in your equipment as well as trust in yourself. How did his image turn out?
ReplyDeleteGreat shot...love the dedication for THE shot
ReplyDeleteNot even sure if I would try that one...dying to see the picture he got! :)
ReplyDeleteNot Me! Just getting down on my knees is a challenge....LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm with Esther, my knees wouldn't care for this at all. LOL Fun photo!

I don't know how his shot came out but yours is definitely a winner in the "Quest" category! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love your picture. I would like to see some of his. This is so funny.
ReplyDeleteI shuttered thinking of dangling the camera over water!
