My end of town, although largely suburban, still supports a mix of commercial business and agriculture. Although not the major focus of this sunset photo, you can see a cornfield in the picture.Yes, that's corn next to a sidewalk. Behind me is a large parking lot which supports an office building housing a major accounting firm. At the end of this road, a left turn an a half mile drive will take you to the largest indoor shopping mall in a 50-mile radius, with over 100 stores.
Hi Val,
ReplyDeleteWow, you've got it all in one picture. Love the orange glow and the reflection in the car. Have a great day!
Sherrie
everything looks on fire, gorgeous shot...odd to see a sidewalk beside a field of corn...
ReplyDeleteThis is a fascinating photo. To me, it's all about the interplay of light. The actual subject matter is immaterial.
ReplyDeleteJust fabulous. Great colors and drama in the sky and a nice interplay between rural and urban. Your composition decision to include the car hood works well even beyond the reflection. Love it.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Love the lines, drama in the sky the reflection in the car hood and the mixture of rural and urban. Fantastic image.
ReplyDeleteYou always shine at road shots. This is especially fabulous. I love of course the color but even more the mash-up of rural versus not so rural...
