As you may have read in last week's post, I was fortunate enough to visit the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens when an art installation was on display that depicted each of the four seasons. Below is a photograph of Spring. This one reminded me of a float in the rose parade, because it is mostly made up to represent flowers.
Impressive!, especially the daisy collar.
ReplyDeleteLoving those jovial colors and that jovial smile! This is fantastic and very quirky!
ReplyDeleteFascinating art! (Still a little scary, but less so than the first!) Good capture!
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine how much time and material was put into this display!
ReplyDeleteStill a long way to go until spring here so enjoyed seeing this colourful display. Not someone I'd want to run across on a dark night though!
ReplyDeleteThe Queen of the Desert is Australian!
ReplyDeleteVal I tried this yesterday and three times todat, I will PM you @ EV

What a handsome fellow with his rosy cheeks and daisy collar!
ReplyDeleteLove these.
wow, a lot of work went into that. Not sure if I would want to meet him on a dark night walking through the forest. I agree with Sunny, it's a bit creepy.
ReplyDeleteGreat artistic effort! I love the billowing clouds that you have framed it with.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely piece of natural art. Lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love all those vibrant colors. Have a great day!

Looks to me that it should be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras rather than in the dry desert. Very cool and some big time creepy . . .
ReplyDeleteThat is really the neatest thing. I have never seen anything quite like that before. The sky is perfect in this picture, also.
