I love to photograph shadows, and a late afternoon hike up Camelback Mountain in early January gave plenty of opportunities to for interesting shots.
Here's something odd - I set the width of the top photo to 750 px (it autofit to 500 px high) and the width of the lower photo to 750 px (it autofit to 1125 px high) but they are not the same width here. Hmmm.....
Weird...wonder if blogspot resizes them when they are uploaded??
ReplyDeleteLove both of these shot...but really in love w/ the first one! It almost looks like they are having a conversation!
Love the warm color and the shadows.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the long shadows that winter days cast too!
ReplyDeleteI love those shadow photos! Especially the three-headed one on the bottom. Amazing what those cacti are hiding, that you can only see in their shadows! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think the top image looks like the cacti are waving at the viewers!
ReplyDeleteThey are great photos. I especially like the first cactus.
ReplyDeleteNice strong shadows, especially on the top shot. The mountain area is beautiful.
ReplyDeletebeautiful shots, the second is quite fun
