Shopping trip, anyone?

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to visit a few foreign countries, and hang on to any spare money left at the end of the trip.

Don't get too excited about those 1000 Rupiah notes - they are only worth about 11 cents US. (I tossed a US penny on the pile for perspective).

  1. We all have that collection, minus the U.S. Cent, our money has devalued so much we don't have anything smaller than 5 cents. In Yogyakarta I was once given a 5 Rupiah note, what would the harga of that be?

  2. It's neat to see all the different shapes, sizes and colours of coins and paper notes from different countries...much more fun to see them in their own countries too--Yay for international travel!

  3. If all of us pooled our leftover travel money together, maybe we could have a party?
