Playing around with some leftover Valentine's Day roses in my light box.

  4. I like the pink shadows! I have heard that it is really hard to get good red rose photos. These were well positioned. You did the lighting just right.

    Thanks for your nice comments on this photo.

    Madelaine - I put the "food powder" that comes with the flowers into the vase, and added water every 2-3 days. I took this photo on Feb 27; the flowers are pretty wilty now and are due to go into the trash (sigh).

  8. OK...how did you keep the roses so beautiful for so long? Love the shot. I'm going to ask a friend to make me a light box but for now I took some of my tee shirts and draped them over my laundry!!
