Whoop, whoop!

This whooping crane doesn't mind getting his feet wet as he wades through this little pond on a hot summer's day.

Photo was taken at the International Crane Foundation grounds near Baraboo, Wisconsin.

  6. I thought whooping cranes were extinct? Well, this one looks alive and well...and justifiably admiring itself in its reflection.

  8. Very pretty and so vibrant! It might benefit from just a little more "blacks" to help the contrast a little. Gosh you're so lucky to be able to go to such great places to shoot!
