Slowly

These two women and their lovely dogs make their way slowly into the mist on a recent early morning walk at a local park.

  1. Hi Val,
I agree with Ron, it looks cold. But love that mist/fog hanging there in the background. Have a great day!

  2. The dogs don't look to happy about being out in the cold . . . even with their snazzy jackets on.

  3. Well, yes, obviously cold. But that is what makes the picture for me; the mist rising, the four companions all bundled against the weather, the bare trees. Would have been a far less remarkable shot if taken in warmer weather. And I really like the composition too with its striking repetition.........two dogs, two ladies.

  4. The muted colors lend the scene a certain unity--they make it all hang together well.

  5. I like the whole color coordination thing they have going on.

  6. Nice to see the woman on the left has some rescue greyhounds. Wouldn't you think her friend would offer to hold the leash on one of them? I like the mist coming off the water.

  7. I'm with Julie, the mist is everything here and the relationship of the ladies and dogs.
