This image has nothing to do with Independence Day, but I liked it, so here it is. A pair of goldfinches, hanging out. Check out my DBF Jon's blog for a red, white and blue bird!

Pair - redux
These two-of-a-kind black swans were caught preening in Regent's Park in London. A touch of Topaz brought out some of the detail in their feathers.

The dynamic duo
This pair of cardinals decided to have a late lunch at our pair of bird feeders.
Shot through the window on Sports mode. Lazy, but it got the job done!

How about a pair of Fourteeners?
Although there are three mountain peaks in this photo, only two, Gray's and Torrey's, are fourteeners, mountains over 14,000 feet in elevation. From the left, the peaks are: Grizzly, Gray's, and Torrey's. There are more than 50 14ers in the state of Colorado. If you are ambitious, you can summit the pair of these in a single summer's day.
