Who among hasn't ventured down this path?

When I was a kid, it was considered big fun to wrap gifts in the Sunday comics. I guess you could consider that old-fashioned packaging...

(OK...I just saw someone else's blog and realized this should be TWO themes - one of old fashioned, and one of packaging. So in the spirit of my Awesome buddy Ron, I'll break this rule and leave my original interpretation of the theme...)

  1. Now that is the best kind of wrap...we still do that...nothing like the comics for a colorful display (I don't think that is old fashioned...but maybe I am old LOL)

  2. I certainly have done this - and in our more green conscious times it is very good practice - REUSE

  3. Makes so much sense, we even used to be able to get our fish and chips wrapped in newspaper, but some wowser put a stop to that. Great Observation and memories, thank you

  4. Awesome interpretation of theme! It's been years since I have wrapped in the comics. Love the out of focus edges and the clear center. Nice job!
