While shoveling out from our 14" storm last week, I paused to put some perspective to the chore of clearing the driveway. The mailbox marks the street. It took 2 of us about 2 hours to clear the drive. Predictably, the plow came by just as we hit the street and gave us another dose to dig out.
I am hoping you had a snow blower! That street shot is amazing w/ the mailboxes barely sticking out!
ReplyDeleteI feel for you. Maybe the worst is over!
ReplyDeleteSo much snow. Your image really shows the magnitude of the task.
ReplyDeletewow. That's a lot of work. Your shot tells the story well (even though it is an ugly, ugly story).
ReplyDeleteE-gads! That's an amazing shot Val.
ReplyDeleteNot a fun task!! Maybe Jon will get you a snowblower for Valentine's Day!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThere must be Val but I don't recall the theme Archaeology in the challenge, never mind - Keep on Digging!
ReplyDeleteUgh, Val!!! You poor thing! I can't look at this and not shudder!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of snow! Clearing that wide of a swath is surely admirable. Good choice for B+W, for I imagine there isn't that much color to begin with. Including the shovel in the center of this Snowopolis is a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteyou guys just keep getting the worst of what this winter has to offer. Chin up spring is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like it took some effort, but where do you shovel the snow to?
ReplyDeleteYikes! Ever considered relocating??????
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, Val, knowing these events; having done the work and cleaned the entrance of the garage, just at the moment comes the snow plow and I have to begin once more ...
ReplyDeleteMy back hurts just looking at this!
ReplyDeleteGreat story shot indeed but ick!
ReplyDeleteI felt your pain! That is why we now have a snow thrower - and it takes care of the end of the driveway when the snowplow comes by later on.
