Purple

Part of our weekend planting included two pretty purple clematis. We are hoping to train them to climb their way up our fence, giving us some pretty purple privacy.

  2. Hi Val,
They are beautiful! I've always wanted a Clementius but never bought one. I'll have to put that on my garden wish list. Have a great day!

  3. I love the color of this one. We've had only spotty success with clematis in the past and are hoping for a good bloom this year. We'll see!

For some reason my google reader has decided it should only feed me your posts on a weekly basis, so 7 for me today!

  5. Beautiful. I need something to grow along my fence. A friend of mine posts pictures of his Clementius every year and it's doing very well.

  7. The purple stands out so well against the contrasting greens.

  8. I thought I was looking at a macro of vinca (periwinkle) at first, and was relieved to see it was pretty purple prospective privacy instead.

  10. Lovely clematis blooms. Hope they'll grow beautifully for you...sometimes the bunnies like them so hopefully they won't munch yours off like they did my daughter's plant.
