At a crossroads . . .

Early in our hike at Starved Rock State Park, we happen on the first of many crossroads. The trails wind and criss-cross throughout the park. We were headed to Wildcat Canyon, so we turned left.

  1. Great take on the theme. I have seen so many of these brown signs too. I can never decide which way to go. We hike a lot in the summer.

  8. Nice image for this theme. I like how the sign divides the starkness of the snow below, and the more active branches above.

  9. Stopping by woods - I like the way the bushes or trees seem contained by the sign.

  10. Which was the road less traveled? It looks like it was a bright sunny perfect day for a winter hike. Looking forward to more Starved Rock pictures.

  11. Now that looks like my sort of walk - wish I was there, snow, walking, sunshine, now just add 3 dogs and that is perfection.

    Good one.
