Anyone up for a hike? On the second day of our trip to Arizona, we left the heat of Phoenix and headed up into the mountains. I liked the bent arms of this teddy bear cholla, framing the Superstition mountains.
Great name for a mountain, Louis Lamour, wrote a couple of great stories centred on that area. Who would have thought of Cholla as a frame for a photo, beautiful.
I like this picture with the harsh thorns in the foreground framing the view of the mountain.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful nature made frame! This is stunning!

ReplyDeleteGreat framing indeed, those thorns are glowing. Beautiful shot.

ReplyDeleteGreat composition!
ReplyDeleteThe cactus does make a lovely frame for the mountains.
ReplyDeleteEnlarged it is even better
ReplyDeleteNice shot the way the cactus frames the mountains. Quite a switch from the snowy mountains to the warm desert!
ReplyDeletelove the 'frame' too! This is such a different landscape (to me)...would love to hike there too!
ReplyDeleteThis plant is gorgeous! I've never seen anything like it before and as Tammy said, the perfect frame for that majestic mountain.
