I really like the angle of this shot and the fact that you can see inside. There are so many straight-on pictures of closed doors and gates anymore. I like them but they're getting too predictable. This is a nice twist on the same idea...but a different theme, as the others are not so inviting. Wicked shot!
Love the color and texture . . . this makes me wonder what is on the other side of the wall.
ReplyDeleteAnd You and I never turn down an invitation! LoL beautifully captured and interpreted for the theme.
ReplyDeleteIt does look inviting, especially at the angle you took the photo. Looks like there is poodle dog topiary inside!
ReplyDeleteThere's almost an Alice in Wonderland feeling: what's beyond that gate? I can imagine all sorts of fantastic things.
ReplyDeleteNo excuses for not going in if the gate was left open, hope you did.
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lois, I want to see what's on the other side of that gate. Love the color. Have a great day!
Sherrie
This is deserving of a frame! Makes me want to enter to see the surprises on the other side of the wall! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot...love the way you have used the wall to frames the gate...
ReplyDeleteYou chose the perfect angle to escort us in to the scene. Fab color and texture.
ReplyDeleteLove the warm tones of this image and you exposed well for both in front of the gate and beyond.

ReplyDeleteYes, it says come through! Wonderful balance of colors!
ReplyDeleteYes, really inviting ... did you go into the Garden?
ReplyDeleteThat is a very beautiful place. I love the blue gate and the hint of what's on the other side is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly says ...Come on in.
ReplyDeleteLovely composition! The gate does look very inviting, but a little mysterious too.
