My DBF is a semi-serious birder;
bird photography and bird blogging are two of his favorite
passtimes. I occasionally accompany him on his birding outings, and on a recent trip to Morton Arboretum outside Chicago, I was fortunate enough to snap this handsome guy's photo.
This is beautifully composed; it shows off the bird to its best advantage.

ReplyDeleteNice! I love that his beak is open, a happy woodpecker/sapsucker. Another place I used to bike to along with Brookfield Zoo. There was one scary busy road but I think now it is all great bike trails.
