Motion Blur

While hiking on Santa Cruz Island, we had a chance to get high up on a bluff, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A flock of pelicans cruised by. I thought it would be cool to catch flying birds from above. I tried to pan with them, but ended up with a shot for the theme of motion blur instead. Thanks to whoever dreamed up that theme! :-)

    lol I could use the theme motion blur in a majority of my pics! Looks like they sure are flying fast!

    I also have a multitude of 'motion blur' shots, but thanks to these pelicans you can now cross it off the list!

    I agree- How cool is that to view the pelicans in flight from above the birds, motion blurred or not?
