Prickly

Some flowering prickly pear cactus in a field of yellow wildflowers.

    They are beautiful. I love cactus even though they are prickly. They seem to live forever without much help from anyone. Love all the color in this picture. Have a great day!

  5. When I've seen prickly pear blooming, it always seems so incongruous to have a soft pink flower at the end of that flat, fleshy spiny oval--I expect flowers to come on stems!
