Heavy

Topaz Adjust 5 has a setting called Heavy pop grunge. I like what it did to this image of the beach cove from Stage Fort State Park. This image is taken across the cove from last week's photo.

Here's the original:

What do you think? Is Heavy, too heavy?

  1. Looks like a surreal painting. I love it.

  2. I just upgraded to Adjust 5. Will have to check that filter out.

  3. I got knocked down when I tried the oil painting look but I really think the painterly look improves the original here.

  4. Heavy. If that's what you are going for it did a good job! What about something in between the two?

  5. A bit heavy, beautiful shot
One thing I learned was to tick the 'process details independently' in the details panel and you get a lot less halos.

  6. The processing certainly made it pop.

  8. I think I would like to see something in between these filters, though I do like what it does to the water and the sunlight on the beach.

  9. This was a brave choice using the heavy grunge, although I like over the top processing.

  10. A very artistic rendering of that scene. I like it. You can always go back and process it differently as the mood strikes you.
