Pleasure

Judging from the number of footprints, many people took pleasure in the beach at Sandy Point on Plum Island, Massachusetts on an early November weekend.

3-exposure HDR processed in Photomatix.

  1. Love the composition with the leading lines of the fence and footprints. The HDR processing brought out all the colors and textures.

Beautiful! I agree with Lois, the footprints lead you down to the beach. Have a great day!

  3. Great shot - Hope they put a boardwalk in before next Summer to protect the dunes.

  4. I love being led down this and I love the falling fences. Maybe not warm sand but so inviing.

  5. To me, this photo is about the sense of anticipation as one approaches the beach. You can smell and taste the salt. You can feel and hear the wind. You can see the dune grass and other plants and the fences, and it all means that the ocean is right over there...
