This is a shot from last summer, high atop Chiquita Peak in the Mummy Range Wilderness area of Rocky Mountain National Park. It was cold and windy up here, but that glorious blue sky stretched for miles. I took a shot of this unknown hiker from the protection of a stone shelter.
Shutter: 1/640, ISO 64 (on my Olympus, I can go this low), f/8, focal length about 18mm
I bet that lone hiker would love this image...the beauty that surrounds him is almost unbelievable! Gorgeous, gorgeous image!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to get up into the Wild Blue Yonder, without paying airfare. Great Vista too.
ReplyDeleteDid I see you up there, Val? One of the most beautiful spots in the world. A gorgeous photo.
