The only lodging within the boundaries of Great Smoky Mountain National Park are hike-to cabins high atop Mt. LeConte. During our visit, all cabins were booked, so we just hiked up, had lunch, then hiked back down.
This is one of the cabins, from our lunch-picnic vantage point. Some processing done in PS, with use of Topaz Adjust and a little desaturation.
I love the processing on this! Too bad you didn't get to stay in one - I'd like to see how it looks inside...

I don't see the outhouse anywhere!! I like your processing and perspective.
ReplyDeleteWonderful details in that texture - wonderful processing! I love how rugged this is w/ the desaturation of colors!
ReplyDeleteold house always has its fascination. The angle makes it more interesting. this is my first visit ( I think) but as we seem to be in the same group this period I will definitely come back!

Nicely done. brings out the rustic nature.
ReplyDeleteWell done. The composition and processing really takes us back in time.
ReplyDeletewow. This is a very intriguing photograph. I agree that the textures, colors and perspective captured are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI like the desaturation too, along with the perspective. I imagine you have to book way in advance.
