In the misty Great Smoky Mountains National Park, it was tough to get any kind of clear shot. Following in the HDR shoes of Mike (Boomer) and Ron, I bracketed my shot & took 3 exposures, then used Photoshop and Topaz Adjust to come up with this image. My 3 shots were hand-held, and perhaps in the compilation process, PS saw some camera movement, because I ended up with some ghosting around the tree in the left corner. Still, making an HDR from this panoramic view was a fun project!
I'm sorry, but I was drinking in the Vista you presented us, was then in awe at the handheld disclosure, But then bloody near choked to death, on see my name next to a luminary like Mike. His pieces are masterpieces of the HDR art, your one here is a breathtaking View, mine are fingerpaintings stuck on a fridge my an over-proud mum, with blue tack. Thank you you underestimate your work's value.

ReplyDeleteThis is a knockout! I wonder how easy it would be to paint away the ghosting/halo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! I love how the clouds seem to be hugging the mountains.
ReplyDeleteI've only tried HDR a couple times, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the ghosting!
