Not a great picture of this Junco, but I like how I caught him just as he became
airborne. If I could have convinced him to just hang there for a few moments, I could have used my manual focus to really hone in on him. Oh well.
PS: He looks like a character from Angry Birds. :-D
I like the picture of the airborne bird knowing well that it's not so easy as it may seem sometimes: Birds don't wait till you are ready for a shot ...

ReplyDeleteBird photography is not for the easily discouraged...those little critters are usually not cooperative. They're on the move to avoid predators and to be able to get enough food to sustain themselves. Great try though!
