Driving back from our Minnesota trip, we stopped at the Necedah Wildlife Refuge so Jon could do a little birding. On the drive up to the visitor's center, we spotted (ha ha) a doe and her fawn. I have seen lots of deer in my life, but never a fawn. I was so excited! He was fairly bold, standing his ground asI took several photos of him out the car window. How cute is he??
Hi Val,
ReplyDeleteHe looks very interested in what your doing. Awesome shot! Have a great day!
Sherrie
Wonderful capture! Did you see any Whooping Cranes?
ReplyDeleteBambi....so, so cute w/ those spots!
ReplyDeleteso cute he almost looks fake!
ReplyDeleteHis expression seems to say, I have never seen one of those in a car before! - Wish I'd brought MY camera.
ReplyDeleteSneaking a peek at the visitors...wonderfully sharp image!
ReplyDeleteSure he's all cute now, but wait until he cleans out your petunia bed overnight. Glad you finally had the opportunity to see a fawn though.
ReplyDeleteHe's cute, because of the spots. Once those are gone it becomes a 200 pound slug, so love it while you can!
ReplyDeleteSo crisp a shot of what more and more I think of as equal to a rodent in destructiveness.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet portrait of such a cute face.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo glad this little dear posed so nicely for you.
ReplyDeleteHe is so precious. I love the alert look in his eyes.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a sweetie! Brazen little fellow doesn't know how vulnerable he is. Were you as close as this shot seems?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great capture! The perfect tension between wary alertness and bold curiosity.
ReplyDeleteCan't miss with wild life. Love it!
