The second week of August, we took a few days and headed up to the north shore of Lake Superior, in northern Minnesota. One morning found us on the rocky beach, enjoying the
mist bumping against the shore. I'm still figuring out Photomatix, but I am kind of happy with this 3-shot result.
In spades to my way of thinking!

ReplyDeleteExcellent! My only regrets is that you didn't make this enlargement bigger. I like the softness of the mist on the lake and the well defined lines of light in the sky.
ReplyDeleteGlad your utilizing photomatix and your starting out well, get ready for a long learning curve but well worth it. Love this scene when enlarged. Just bump up the highlights smoothing and you'll even out that sky even more!
