According to the skiers rules of responsibility, the right of way belongs to the person downhill of any approaching skiers, and people merging into trails have to look uphill before the move in.
At least they are all the same skill level so it's hard to make a wrong decision. Good illustration of the theme and you're really making me yearn for the slopes!
