Blatant blog-lifting...Thanks, Julie!

I loved Julie's photos of closed tulips. It had never occurred to me to shoot them this way before. Here's my try at it. I wish it had a leaf in there, but at least I'm happy with the selective focus.

    Great focus, Val. It really enhances the shot by letting one see just the bright color of the tulip.

    Bloglifting is best when you outdo the originator and you did just that! The color gives yours a lot more 'life' than mine...

    btw...did you coin the phrase 'bloglifting'?
