We've had an unusually wet, rainy spring this year. A few days ago, I was playing around taking shots through my living room window. It was POURING rain, but the sun was out, providing some interesting backlighting. Playing with the Topaz "Spicify" filter gave me second thoughts about wanting the rain to go away. Click to really see the raindrops.
That rain is really sheeting down! The light in your shot is really interesting. I hope you get some sunny days soon....
ReplyDeleteNice catch--love the lighting.
ReplyDeleteAh, but the rain makes everything that beautiful color of green. When I was in the southwest, I realized just how brown everything is -- while waiting for the rain to come.
ReplyDeleteVal, that back lighting is incredible and love those splashes of rain! Great picture (especially for playing out your window!!)
ReplyDeleteOh a sun shower! Love the image.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture. The weather looks oddly familiar.
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot with the rain and the sun together. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThis is great Val. Catching falling rain is very difficult. You made a wonderful image.
ReplyDeleteI'm all too familiar with the rain but it's great (if not a little frustrating!)to capture it raining while the sun is shining!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Love how this pic turned out! Looks like the leaves are crying uncontrollably!
ReplyDeleteVery neat photo.
