No particular mysterious meaning...just some cool brushed aluminum numbers on a Chicago side street. Very busy image, but it started to rain and I didn't want to keep my camera out, so I only took the one shot. Played around with Topaz - Ghostly Night (think that's its name?). I'm still not really happy with it, but, here you go...
Interesting photo. Might be neat if you could find a way to increase the contrast between the numbers and the background. Not that I have an idea to give you, sorry.
ReplyDeleteWhen you took this photograph I was wondering what you would do with it (knowing it would appear somewhere on your blog!!). I really like it!! Your perspective is just right coupled with the brushed aluminum makes for an interesting shot.
ReplyDeleteI do like the end results, the black and white tones are wonderful and it really takes away from some of the background distractions.
ReplyDeleteI like this!! I like all the straight lines and the soft curves of the threes. I think the black and white is really well rendered and the contrast is excellent to me.

A great monotone composition. I like you point of view.
ReplyDeleteLove all that polish and shine and you've taking the photo from an interesting angle, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast you ended with, the numbers are sort of art deco looking. Nicely shot to not get blown highlights on that wet metal. (sorry about bringing the rain with me)
