There are innumerable sets of repeating arches inside Canterbury Cathedral in Canterbury, England. This place was amazing....stained glass, soaring ceilings, crypts of past Bishops of Canterbury everywhere. A choir was singing for the early part of our visit, really adding to the ambiance. We were transported into the distant past...the 1200s. I'm really glad we got a chance to visit this special place. Processed with Topaz Adjust 4 - Detailed.
Wow, What a powerful place...I love how dramatic the processing made this...I want to go! :)
ReplyDeleteVal, you asked about my camera...all of a sudden it started taking pictures w/ large black spots on it - about 4/5 pics were affected, then it gave me error code 99 (which is a catch all if the camera doesn't recognize what's wrong)...I did all the standards - took the battery out, took the card out, cleaned the sensors and nothing worked. so now I am sending it in...I feel lost without it already LOL
The interior of those Gothic cathedrals are so awe-inspiring. The lines that soar to the ceiling high above, those wonderful arches, the light - you've captured it all.

ReplyDeleteThat was what the Architect was trying to achieve in these buildings, and you have captured it to a tee.
