A more healthy diet?

They say eating more veggies is good for your health. Wonder if these count?

  1. Every little bit helps! Besides, onion and garlic add a zing to otherwise bland dishes. Nice closeup!

  2. May cost you some friends but they keep Vampires at bay. I love Onions grilled on a Barbecue, and there is never enough to satisfy everyone!

  4. I say yes - Onions are great for colds, coughs and breathing problems. Garlic is good for your heart, can act like an anti-biotic and is an anti-fungal.

(note: I don't eat a lot of "vegetables", so I think every bit counts)

I don't know about onions but garlic is good for the stomach. Great close up shot. Have a great day!

  7. Not sure if it counts but garlic is supposed to keep colds away, vampires too if you're worried about that.

  8. Why is it several of us automatically thought of vampires?! :)

  9. Yep, definitely! I love onions (although my husband does not like me when I eat them)! I like the details you got and the simplicity!

  10. I think they are both essential for any cook to have a ready supply of - I recently saw something called 'onion goggles' in a homewares show - wish I'd taken a photo.

  11. Not only are they both good for you, but people will keep their distance and not give you their colds! Win, win!

  13. Two of my favorite additions to food, especially garlic. Can't get enough of that, except perhaps in pancakes.

  14. Well, garlic will keep off vampires...it is reouted to have many other health benefits also. One thing I know is that, in terms of taste, there is just no such thing as too much garlic!
