I was driving on the parkway once and a whole bunch crossed the road (in CT). After a few hours of driving in pouring rain, I thought this was a sure sign I should get off the road!
That's crazy Val. Good thing you've got the photo to back your story up.
Hope he didn't leave you any "calling cards"!
What a surprise, I imagine they could make a mess of your yard and any new plants.Nice shot in what looks like the ever tricky dappled sun/shade.
Never have seen a wild turkey that wasn't in a bottle. Yet another thing on my bucket list!
They're becoming more and more common--but be careful. They can be really nasty and quite aggressive.
I am very amused when I see these birds around and about. They seem to be taking back the suburban areas around here too.
Turkeys are now everywhere. Funniest thing is when you see them fly!
