Ouch. I always wonder about the disruption to these people's lives. Glad no one was hurt.
I remember a story of Lee Trevino, who had been hit twice by lightning, following a stoppage for lightning at a tournament, was outside having some practice swings when Hubert Green said "Lee are you crazy we haven't had the all clear!" Lee is supposed to have replied, "Don't worry, it's a One Iron and even God can't hit a One Iron"!Lightning is scary.
Sad! I hope the unit is fixed soon and that the residents are back in their homes!
Scary! Whenever we have bad storms, I calm myself down by reminding myself that this house has stood for over 100 years.
Hi Val,Lighting is a scary thing. Glad to hear no one was hurt. Hopefully they will get to move back home soon. Have a great day!Sherrie
Hope the damage is fixed soon and the residents can get back to their homes. Summer storms can be very destructive.
What a relief that no-one was hurt, houses can be rebuilt.
Scary indeed,I'm glad too that no one was hurt. I miss thunderstorms but not of course the damage.
Sad. I hope the disruption isn't too traumatic for the people and pets. Too bad we can't blame this one on fireworks.
What do you think?
