Looks like I'd feel, out in a rainstorm! But his feathers dry out quicker than our clothes do. And by the time the sun shines, he'll have forgotten all about the storm. :)
looks cold and lonely, hope he had some friend around. I had a strrling here today, early for the season as thy usually show up in the and of march - start of april. I don't think he appreciated the snow.....
Poor bedraggled bird! Hope you gave him some extra treats....
ReplyDeleteA fun photo of the wet bird.
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeleteHe looks drenched. Great shot of him hanging on the feeder waiting out the rain. Or waiting for some food. Have a great day!
Sherrie
I think starlings always look bedraggled, but even our colourful Lorrikeets look like that as they weather a storm.
ReplyDeleteWet in deed! good shot
ReplyDeleteI think he wants to come in to warm up! Very nice details in those wet feathers!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a hairstyle one might see in Vogue or perhaps Popular Mechanics. Reminds me of a slim Elizabeth Taylor for some reason.
ReplyDeleteVery neighbourly of you to provide shelter and a snack.
