The branches of the old oak tree against the blue sky is a very nice contrast.
I like this a lot. I'm wondering how it would look with a little crop to the left side. My eye is a bit distracted by that little bushy part on the far left. Just a suggestion.
Loving the shape of this old oak tree...fab colors too!
Hi Val!That's a very pretty tree. Really stands out against that blue sky. Have a great day!Sherrie
Even though the tree sits in solitude imagine what it has seen over its lifespan. Jets taking to the sky, the changing fashions of visitors and the types of cameras pointed at it!
This is an elegant composition--all that intense blue sky and the oak there, stretched out with that strong trunk and the delicate tracery of branches.
The tree has a great shape about it, must look good when all in leaf.
Fantastic image, Val. I like how you've got the horizon at the lower horizontal third and the tree smack in the middle. And the blues and golden browns complement each other so well.
the venerable tree has seen many seasons to come and to go - and will do this for some other time. Beautiful shot.
Why I am attracted to single trees in the field, I don't know. But this one calls to me...get the camera!
Such a fine old tree, I love how you gave it lots of sky. I love the blue and the tawny grasses together, such a great color combo.
I love the shape of this tree! Beautiful capture!
What a majestic oak against that beautiful blue sky. Like blues contrasting against the taupes of the landscape at this time of year.
I like the way you got the brances against the clear blue sky. Oak trees have such massive shapes
