I like this image better then one of gas prices as well (although not a bad idea for a theme!). To put things in perspective the highest point in the Northeast is 6,288 ft at Mt Washington
If we ever got together In Real Life, I have got to tell you the story about the time I ended up at the Loveland Pass, kinda by accident, and me driving a rented Ford Escort in a freak September snow storm with my 20 month old in the back seat.
I love the bright blue sky and the mountain tops in the background. Have I mentioned before how jealous I am?
ReplyDeleteBlue sky and mountains looks so very inviting.
ReplyDeletethe well done picture underlines the theme: sky high! Marvellous.
ReplyDeleteFantastic image for the theme

ReplyDeleteThat must be amazing be at that elevation. A gorgeous scene to take in....
ReplyDeleteGreat for the theme. One question though was the pass leading you "TO" or "FROM" Loveland, when you took the shot?
ReplyDeleteThanks for not reminding me of the gas prices...this is much more scenic and easier on the heart lol

ReplyDeleteGreat views in all directions from this spot, great image.
ReplyDeleteWow - that's some elevation! Great shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat image! I really like signs that show where you are, and this one tells plenty.
ReplyDeleteNow if you were to spit exactly on the crest half would end up in the Pacific Ocean and half in the Atlantic, correct?
Coincidentally though, had you posted the gas prices the numbers would have been the same!
ReplyDeleteI love your Colorado posts. We lived there a long time and I get a bit homesick at times. I hope you will get some spring/summer mountain photos, too!
ReplyDeleteMuch more pleasing than gas prices.
