My wife's manual Toyota Matrix gets over 40 mpg on the highway, and you can load the thing! Why would anyone want something so tiny and vulnerable for what, 10-15 more mpg? Something like what you are showing should get 200 mpg!
It's very cute! The price of gas just rose about 5 cents a liter here (thank you Quadaffi) so I can definitely see the allure of this itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny vehicle. I like how you shot it to emphasize the abbreviated form.
Looks like a SUV could swat it w/ one hit! :) You have to admit, it is cute!
ReplyDeleteWhen I see a car like this I always wonder where to put the groceries.
ReplyDeleteNot too smart in my safety book!

ReplyDeleteCute, yes, but practical, no.
ReplyDeleteI saw something like this yesterday, it looked wider than it was from front to back!

ReplyDeleteeven though our gasprice is very very high I would for safety reasons never use a car like that. It's cute though, reminds me of a toycar
ReplyDeleteI sure wouldn't want to be read-ended in that!
ReplyDeleteI have a large friend with a Smart Car, (who's car I was planning to use for this very theme!) no freeways around here
